What the Mamas are Saying

You know what?
Mamas love the Comfort Camp.
They rave about it.
And I’m honored, humbled, and happydancing every time a Camper shares her joy with me.

Take a look:

Thank you Susan for videotaping yourself!
Kisses to the baby.

Mama’s Comfort Camp: a place where you can show up as you really are on the bad days… exhausted, stressed out, feeling guilty over your very imperfect parenting, besotted with your kids, enraged with and resentful of your kids, with dirty dishes piling high, those phone calls unreturned, your hair way too dirty and just a little bit of baby spew on your shirt. And people will hug you and be nice to you. And on your good days you get to return the favor! What’s not to love?

~ Claire McAll, Melbourne, Australia

Although I don’t have a loud voice here, my heart and mind love this space. While I agree with everybody about finding comfort during difficult times, I think I have been most delightfully surprised by how much I laugh because of this group. These moms are real and smart and compassionate and supportive. I appreciate the comfort and the humor of this community. Thank you for creating this space, and thank you for including me in it.

I am so grateful for the sense of safety and sanctuary that Mama’s Comfort Camp brings. I’ve really enjoyed the camaraderie as well as the validation I’ve received among the women who are part of the group. And grateful to Yael for it’s vision. ♥

I love this space. For me, Mama’s Comfort Camp is a sounding board. I can check in when I am struggling and need to be lifted up. There is always a reminder thread to be mindful of even the small things that are going right. And on the days when nothing is going well, it is reassuring to hear that others have walked in these shoes and that x, y, or z might help turn the day around. It is such a tremendous support to know that at any time, day or night (thanks to worldwide membership), I can pop in here and recharge. There is always someone ready with a kind word or alternate perspective that can help reframe a day.

If a FB page can be “spirit-filled” this one for sure is. It’s okay to come as you are- a place where mama’s love one another on this journey to whole-ness… thank you! I love this group. It is a safe place for moms to be free of judgement and to just be. There is no requirement to participate or cliques or pressure of any sort. This group has been such a help to me. I’m glad it’s here I hope all the mama’s who need it are led here. LOVE!

Mama’s Comfort Camp is so positive, uplifting, full of joy, like a warm blanket … Lots of moms encouraging, cheering you on, knowing your not alone. A light post. A safe place to let go of the facade.

I keep coming back to Mama’s Comfort Camp because it reminds me that everyone has problems. We all have our crap going on behind closed doors, and most of us are afraid to talk about it in the “real” world. This is a great place to come to get out frustrations, or just to remind yourself that you don’t have it SO bad. So, thank you Yael for starting this group and keeping it up and doing EVERYTHING that you do because it’s awesome. As in awe-inspiring, not just really really cool.

~ Heidi Brown, Ithaca, NY.

For me, the thing I love most about MCC is that it’s such a positive, uplifting page. Sometimes what I need most, though I often don’t realize it, is to focus on the good–instead of the fact that I’m having a bad day or whatever. I find this page to be incredibly uplifting emotionally. I never leave this page feeling worse or the same as when I opened it.

Thank you Yael and Den Mothers for this amazing group! I have never felt so encouraged, loved, free from judgment, and just so NORMAL around anyone else (friends or family), and that alone is truly priceless, because nothing else compares to the support of having a group of caring Mamas who truly GET YOU. Thank you to all the Mamas for what you do. Lots of love!

~Katherine Chandler Mitchell

A tremendous thank you to Yael Daphna Saar for creating such an incredible group. Mama’s Comfort Camp is a place where we all feel at home. Every single one of us, regardless of what we’re feeling, facing or racing through that day, can find this as a place to share and be shared with, support and be supported, and to love and be loved. Please consider joining us if you are a mother who would like to connect with this incredible group of women. You’ll be glad you did. xox

See what I mean?
A multitude of gratitude to every Camper who shares her experience of the Mama’s Comfort Camp with me.
